We try to fly Grandma out about every 3 months to visit us for a few weeks. We LOVE Grandma's visits. Every time Grandma comes, she wonders if Boston will be shy with her, but he never is. He instantly loves her and kisses her and adores her to pieces. We picked Grandma up from the airport with a big Neon pink sign hanging out our car window and me laughing my head off because of the big dorks that we are. :) We did lots of fun things with Mom while she was here. We went on walks, had bbq's toured an old Mansion at the museum, learned to crochet, drooled our way through hobby lobby, made yummy treats, danced around the house, laughed our heads off every night, shared new books with each other, watched movies and the list goes on.
We love you Grandma and we can't wait for your next visit in January. This woman is popular in our family....she get's booked out months in advance by all of her kids and family.
Nana and Papa came to visit us a week after Boston's birthday on their way to Michigan. Nana got really sick the weekend of Boss' actual birthday so they weren't able to make it up, but that was ok because we got to see them just a few days later...and they came bearing gifts!
Boss got an awesome car port, slide toy that Boston loves. He haphazardly shoves his cars into the elevator and shoots them down the slide and gets a big kick out of it. I catch him trying to shove all sorts of things up that elevator (my shoe, Daddy's water bottle, other toys). And on some days he just likes to flip the carport up side down and see if he can destroy it. Either way he is LOVING that toy. Uncle Cort got Boston a Katana (spelling?) It's like a long wooden sword and Boston enjoys shoving it around on the ground, while Daddy wishes it was his toy. Papa also picked out some awesome Halloween pj's for Boss that are too cute for words. Papa and Nana also got Boston our favorite pj's ever last Halloween...I feel a tradition coming on. Cute Halloween pj's every year perhaps? :) It was so fun to catch up with Nana and Papa and by the morning Boston was laughing his head off with Nana and growling with Papa.
We love you guys! And we LOVE living so near all this family!
