It's been a crazy couple weeks around here. And not exciting crazy, more just mundane, annoying crazy. For starters we all got a stomach bug like 4 days apart from each other so we spent a couple weeks with at least one of us throwing up or fighting off fevers.
Sickness is now gone. Thank goodness. Now all of our appliances/electronics are shutting down one by one.
First my car died (so I couldn't make it to the gym) The next day I realized that my car died because I caught Boston turning the dome light on as he hopped out of his car seat. That night I went to a bridal shower and Boss really didn't want me to go. I later found out that he had thrown a baby bottle at the tv cracking the screen and breaking the tv completely. RIP Samsung. Speaking of Samsung our fridge crapped out on us. We figured it would be covered under our warranty, but it turns out our warranty never got set up.
Thankfully after hours of phone calls we are now under warranty, our fridge is covered and it will be repaired tomorrow. Thanks to road side service my car battery was charged and thanks to eyes in the back of my head, Boston will not be switching on the dome light again any time soon. The only real fatality of the week is the tv and I'm kinda wondering if it's a blessing in disguise. I've been putting it on for the boys too much lately and I've been wanting to break that habit. Well, habit broken. Cold Turkey. I just feel bad for the hubs and the football he won't get to watch. :( Now here's hoping Boston will let me get through my gym class tomorrow (I had to leave after 5 minutes today cause he wouldn't stop screaming in kids club) and a working fridge!
May the rest of my week be filled with happy children, good friends, inspiring discussions, paper airplanes, a happy husband and maybe even a clean house...at least the downstairs half. And if none of that goes my way, then may I be blessed with awesome fort making skills, a trip to the library and cuddly boys. :)
