What Walmart does to us

Dane, Boston and I headed to Walmart the other night decked out in our sweatshirts, boots and blankie cape (Boss likes wearing his blankie as a cape) and we were amazed/appalled at all the conversations that took place between us.  At the end of our trip we decided that Walmart just turns us into a different sort of people and that is that.

Here are a couple of the funnier example's of our Walmartishness.

1. Dane and I bought me a gooood looking $8 wedding ring, because my actual wedding ring doesn't fit me.  To the cashier it just looks like we have a baby, no wedding ring and just tied the knot with this fancy $8 ring.  In addition to that, Dane and I were arguing in front of the cashier about wether or not I should be biting the plastic holder off the ring, so I can wear it out the store.  Walmart much?

2.  We had our dinner at Walmart...the Mcdonalds in Walmart to be specific.

3.  This conversation took place at dinner between Dane and I,

Me: That's interesting that a kid's portion should be 2/3 of an adult's portion of food.
Dane: Where'd you learn that?
Me: At Mobius (the kids Museum we'd just taken Boston to)
Dane:  That can't be right.  That means that if I had 3 cheeseburgers Boston's supposed to have 1.  That's a lot of food.
Me:  (Long pause) uh honey, your math's not right and you're only supposed to have 1 cheeseburger.

Dane looked at me and we both started cracking up laughing and were dying at the stupidity of our conversation.  In Dane's defense he was equally shocked at his response and not sure exactly where it came from...he really is quite brilliant, but I'm telling you, this is what Walmart does to us!

There were some other gems in the night, but these were the only worth sharing.
Oh and for the record we are now committed to becoming regular Walmart shoppers.   The deals are unbelievable!   So you may be seeing more of these posts in the future.  :)

And PS, I  quite love my $8 ring and I enjoy the blueish tint my 1 carat diamond (AKA piece of glass) gives off.
