Jill is Amazing!

Let's hear it for Jill. I love Jill so much and I know you all do too, I challenge you all to make a post and tell her how much you love her and something you love about her k, thanks. She is not only the best wife but I cannot begin to explain how great of a mother she is. I sure am lucky!
Here are some of the reasons why I love her.
-She cares about my boy so much that I don't even have to, of course I still do, but she is meant to be a mom, and has a total 6th sense for knowing what he needs.
-Even when she is down or having a hard time, the second Boston makes a peep, she puts all of her needs to the side and puts his, and mine, first.
-I cam home yesterday from school and work a little down. She also had a hard day but was 100% supportive and there for me when I needed her.
-She is the sweetest and most generous person I have ever met.
-She constantly volunteers for the things I'm supposed to do with Boston. Especially at night so that I can be more awake for school and work.
-She is a constant encouragement to my ambitions and supports me 100%.
-She is the greatest support and partner in the gospel and is such a great example to me with prayer, scriptures and charity.
-She is so humble and takes advice very easily from people.
-She is the meanest golfer on a golf course.... you should see my driver after she HULK smashed it 20 times.
-She has a beautiful singing voice and just melts Boston even when he is the upset.
-The second Boston entered the world and was crying.... the nurses put him on her chest and she began to sing to him.... he literally calmed the instant she started singing.
-She was so brave during labor that I could not have even came close to handling what she did.

Supportive Wife Fail

Two nights ago Dane and I got no sleep. Bosty was restless and because I am breastfeeding, pumping, and then feeding Boston a bottle (I have to split his feeding time between nursing and bottle feeding because Boston burns too many calories just nursing) Dane has to do the bottle feeding while I pump. So last night I felt bad for Dane because he is up all night like I am, but also has to go to work and class, so I told Dane that I would do all the feedings and get my mom to help with bottles If I needed. Dane liked this idea and I went to bed feeling like an excellent wife. Boston slept awesome last night, so I was super happy about that. When it was time for Bosty's first feeding I went out to the living room, and started running hot water over a bottle I had in the fridge, to warm it up. Then I went to the couch and began nursing Boston. After 15 minutes I called my mom and asked if she would come get the bottle out of the sink. When she gets there the kitchen has about two inches of water spread across the entire kitchen floor and is reaching the carpet! Somehow the sink got plugged and water overflowed everywhere without me having a clue! So, we had to call Dane in to move the fridge to check if water got under there. Kind of a disaster, but we cleaned it up and Dane went back to bed. Then, just a few hours later we get a HUGE pounding on the front door and the maintenance guy walks in to our house. So, Dane gets up again and we learn that the water has leaked through 2 floors and caused damage to all three of our apartments! Also, we have to pay for the damages!

Needless to say, I tried to be a supportive wife, but it was quite a fail. By morning Dane had still not slept and I racked up a potential few hundred dollar bill...and more than likely made us the least favorite neighbors in the building. What a lucky guy Dane is... :) Oh well... better luck tomorrow!
